A bittersweet sale

My biggest piece to date has sold! It was 6 feet x 4 feet, so naturally I titled it, "Go Big or Go Home."

I had a wonderful couple reach out to me about the piece and they came to see it at my apartment before making their decision to purchase. The second they saw it, they knew they had to have it, and I delivered it to their beautiful home in Boca the next day.

(For any South Florida locals, I always welcome you to come see any pieces in person, or I can also bring paintings to your home, so you can see them directly on your wall prior to buying. It is always a good idea to see a piece in person, if possible, rather than on a tiny computer of phone screen)

"Go Big or Go Home" was the statement piece in my apartment, making this sale pretty bittersweet! It hung above my couch, like so:

I created it in the summer of 2020 (a time in my life where I painted more than ever) and it was a true intuitive piece. I felt like I was playing freely with this one, rather than being in my head about it. I scattered some words in the painting, like "art," "happy," and "love," as well as some piece signs and hearts throughout it.

For those of you who watch Dancing With The Stars, Gleb had reached out to me about buying this piece as well! He said he loved the movement of it. It was pretty cool getting to talk to him and hear what he is looking for in terms of art for his new home!

Although the original sold, this piece is available as a print (which you can get printed onto canvas, metal, wood, paper or acrylic), as well as on merchandise. I use my "Go Big or Go Home" mug almost every morning.

SO NOW... it is time to create a brand new statement piece for my apartment. I already bought the canvas, and keep staring at it... not sure where to begin, but I am pretty sure it will be another intuitive abstract, so stay tuned!
