This took me 3 years to finish

I just completed this piece after THREE years!! This is by far the longest it's ever taken me.

Here's the story...

As you probably know, abstracts are my favorite to create. But for this one, I decided to buy and use colors that I typically  don't use. Browns, tans, greens, reds.. autumn colors, if you will.

I worked on this painting in one direction, and then would turn the canvas 90 degrees to paint on it from a different direction, and just kept flipping the canvas every which way during the process.

I liked it, but didn't LOVE it. So I put it aside for about 6 months. I came back to it, worked on it a little more, couldn't decide how I felt about it, and put it aside for another TWO years (time fliessss!!).

I just recently came back to it and really liked it. But I wasn't sure how it would be received since the colors are so different from my other paintings. So, I put up a poll on instagram and asked my audience if they thought it should be kept as is, changed a little, or changed a lot. Decisions, decisions, right?

But the response I received was OVERWHELMING!! Almost ever person said to leave it as is because they loved it. So, I PROUDLY present my latest piece...
