Just a reminder to spread love everywhere, at all times! Copper leaf outlining every heart.
The perfect contrast of black and white vs. color, to really make this heart POP!
Everyone loves hearts. Hearts have been my best sellers since the beginning! On top of that, I added one of my favorite techniques... drips! Textured painting.
This painting was created using only sponges, which allows you to see all the crevices in the paint! Highly textured piece.
How do we know when we are in love? Or just lust? If you look closely, the right side of the heart also serves as a question mark.
My grandma, Rose, loved butterflies. Her fridge was COVERED in colorful butterfly magnets. Growing up, she encouraged me to draw and color when I would visit her, and even had a designated work area for me. She noticed my talent before I ever did. She passed away July 4, 2009, and never knew I ended up becoming a professional artist in 2013. I drew her a butterfly drawing when she passed away, and buried it with her. This painting is fully dedicated to her!
It would really stink if a giraffe had a sore throat (dad joke... literally, my dad's joke). Seriously though, there's just something magical about these animals!!! Silver leaf and holographic glitter scattered throughout.
Right after I finished this painting, I made myself chicken parmigiana. While cooking, I was trying to think of a good name for the painting, and then decided, what the hell, I'll name it "Chicken Parm!" Italian is my all time favorite.. and so is this painting! Created using acrylic paint, gold and copper leaf, and wax pastels, and colored pencils.
Created with just a silicone wedge and a spray bottle of water. Per usual, I felt the need to add drips/rain in order to make this painting complete! Gold/copper/silver leaf scattered throughout.
Warm... gooey... chocolate-y... who doesn't LOVE a doughnut?! The icing and sprinkles really make this painting come to life!
A very REFRESHING painting that reminds me of my childhood. Although, who am I kidding!?.. I'm still a big popsicle fan today! Glitter added to add even more fun!
This painting was created in May 2020. I have another painting titled "Spring Showers" that I created in April 2020, so it only felt natural to name this one "May Flowers." Thick paint globs! Gold and copper leaf edges
